- What kind of lifestyle can I expect?
- The campus is located in one of Fukui’s most developed areas, offering easy access to supermarkets, drugstores, and other shops selling daily necessities.
- Are there student dormitories?
- There are school dormitories, and there are many apartments in the neighborhood ranging from 20,000 to 30,000 yen per month. Sharing a room is also an option. A housing support company can assist with apartment referrals.
- How much are living expenses?
- The main living expenses are rent, utilities, cell phone bills, and food. The average monthly income from part-time jobs is around 100,000 to 150,000 yen, so you’ll have some disposable income. Additionally, tuition is waived.
- What are the transportation options to get to campus?
- Most students commute to campus on foot or by bicycle.
- Please tell me how students spend long breaks such as summer and winter vacations.
- Under Japanese law, students are limited to working a maximum of 28 hours per week during the semester. However, during breaks, they can work up to 40 hours per week. Some students choose to increase their working hours, while others enjoy traveling or sightseeing in Japan during their time off.
