I decided to study abroad because my aunt lives and works in Japan.
While getting used to the climate and cultural differences is important when studying in Japan, I truly feel that my studies at the Japanese Language Department of Fukui Medical Welfare College have not only provided me with new perspectives and knowledge but have also greatly enhanced my personal growth—improving my character, communication skills, and cross-cultural understanding. Currently, many countries in Southeast Asia are experiencing rapid population aging similar to Japan, and this has become a major social issue in my home country as well. In the future, I plan to return to Myanmar and use what I’ve learned and experienced at this school to open a day service center.

Ever since I was a child, I’ve loved Japanese anime and cosplay culture. I studied pharmacy in high school in Indonesia and worked as a pharmacist, but my desire to live in Japan someday combined with my interest in studying the medical and welfare fields, leading me to enroll in the Japanese Language Department at Fukui Medical Welfare College. The Japanese Language Department allowed me to learn not only the language but also the cultures of other countries, which broadened my horizons. After graduation, I plan to advance to the college’s Childcare and Nursing Care Department to deepen my studies in the nursing care field, with the goal of becoming a Certified Care Worker in Japan in the future
